It has been a very long time since I posted a blog, one reason is I really not sure how many take the time to read them , so I am asking if you want me to  blog more often with breaking news and highlights /press links comment here  so I know . The Recent shows have had incredible response so great to meet so many new Janiacs ! The FB page is filled with reviews and photos from the recent Kolkata show and Sept. 26th Rosebowl at  1:30 will air the Dhwani CET show, I will be posting thte videos of that very soon so new videos on their way.

The biggest news of the Month  -”After a exhausting 9 months, Aum- I Artistes delivered a baby studio at 11.45am September 15th Both mother and child are fine and MOTHERJANE is celebrating the event with unconcealed joy. Born in the auspicious month of “Chingam” the studio named Aum-I studio has been pledged by it’s proud parents to the …cause of Independent music in India. Oh my! ~Motherjane”

Motherjane’s 1st song since the release of  Maktub was released on March 1st. The song Tribes of Babel was written for Amnesty International’s PEACE and is streaming on the our main site,  the download was delayed to April12th by the PEACE organizers , see our press release for details.

I encourage you to check Suraj’s lyrics and comments on the song and in the blog below watch him discuss Tribes of Babel in the Rosebowl Interview. We love reading the feedback we are receiving on all the sites, if you haven’t left a comment on the song yet please post a scrap .

Recently announced Motherjane will be performing at Jadavpur University Kolkata on March 12th, please  help spread the word.
