Then motherjane will be back in Bangalore at the Hard Rock on Sept. 24th  and everyone that saw last night show at the Opus , said they would definatly  will come again,  please  dont’ take for granted people just know about the show, help spread the word not only about the event but about the band, each one of you just telling one person about the band makes an incredible difference !!!

There are many more shows upcoming and I know many of you hear  news of upcoming shows and ask why they are not posted , it is because they are not 100% confirmed and would hate to pull events down , trust  me as soon as the are official they will posted , no promises all the places  requested will get shows but that is up to the fans  and venues keep requesting motherjane at your colleges and venues ,  only  together we can create this buzz about the band  not only in India but the world ,… it is already happening …I see it everyday …Remember…

Motherjane is the Featured Artist at Opus Radio for next month  , mark  Calendar Wednesday Sept. 23 from 3 PM to 6 PM India Std. Time ,  exclusive interview with the band, will try to see if Opus will post the audio files for  those  around the globe who can’t tune in at that time, will send reminders on twitter and facebook too .

Interview in Indonesia

Been an especially busy week in motherjane’s world   Both Deepu and Suraj celebrated Birthday’s on Aug. 29th and 30th , it was wonderful to see all the fans who signed the Birthday Card, Deepu and Suraj were quite touched you can see their comments on the card.

I was happy that an Audio Interview with Suraj did after the Indonesian Concert with uploaded, the Interview was done by  RJ Dev Rawat from  Delhi ,  really hope you can find time to listen …The Link is on Indianrockmp3.com .

The video Broken is now being Broadcast in HDTV in Perth, Australia LOCO TV, I am not sure how long the link will be active but login and watch it in this incredible format.

More news on the  video Broken it will start airing on India’s VH1 Aug. 31st, another milestone for the band !The times Motherjane’s video will be airing on VH1 India  next two days, let us know if you see it  ~You can catch the video on 31 Aug ’09 – 9:50 pm and  1st Sept – 12:45 pm / 6:31 pm / 9:45 pm approx.

Motherjane is currently the 1st Indian Band to be featured on Loco TV in Perth Australia, the Network is pleased with the response the band has  generated , yet another country for the band to win the hearts of , really hope to be announcing a show there in 2010 !

Many of you ask me when is motherjane coming here  to do shows, as I always  say the fans are the best promoters,  you want motherjane to come tell your colleges, festivals and clubs let them know you want the band to perform, contact me at evadowd@motherjane.in   if you have leads and I will assure  you the team at Aum I Artistes  will follow up,  the band LOVES  to perform they just need the venues to arrange for them to come !

In closing went to a new local Indian  Restaurant yesterday  here in Boston , I have not experienced much Indian food, it is a bit of acquired taste for me lol being so Americanized in my eating habits, but they recommended I have  some Masala Soda , I was a little concerned when they took so long to make it and I try to be open mind in my cuisine but what was THIS  it tasted like lots of  salt and had spices all sticking to the side of the glass and NO  I did not like it and I tried several sips to acquire a taste  but really never again  hehe it was so funky tasting but give me credit for trying. I did like the bread and some of the veggie dishes  but it is amazing how different food is from culture to culture, that is why it is a good thing we unite through the music and not the food tehe.

There is a  myspace blog with many of the reviews and comments by the fans  of Indonesia but trust me not all of the comments as more and more keep coming in ! There is also some photos uploaded both on the stage  in Jakarta and pictures off  the stage, all can be downloaded at High Res.

I have met hundreds of new fans from Indonesia and glad to have so many of you join the facebook site  and myspace site  and  please help grow both pages where the world unites as one through the love of Motherjane’s Music. Fans in Indonesia please also join the Java Rockin Land Group and Request Motherjane to come back next year.

First bit of rockstar reception was that we bypassed the entire customs & immigration formalities. We just stood around while they tagged all ur luggage and took us out to the artist bus.

2nd rockstar moment- We had a friggin police escort all the way from the airport to the hotel. That cuts down a 1.5 hr trip to 30 minutes

Jakarta looks a lot like an indian metro, with modern skyscrapers &extremely humble shanty huts, standing side by side. When a cty looks back at you like that, it feels like it is winking.

To me that always indicates the wordwide practice of the pursuit of wealth & at the same time suggests that the same place, values its people for other things as well. I am not glorifying poverty, I like countries that do not sweep its poor under the carpet.

Walked into the 5 star Hotel Borobudur to what may have been a traditional Indonesian welcome and a welcoming letter from the minister of culture and tourism

Bumped into Eric martin and Billy Sheehan right outside our rooms. We stay on the same floor. They are really chilled out. Got pics that I’m sure u will see soon.

Just getting into sound check now as i write. It is the 8th 10am, we r watching Mr Big doing their soundcheck and we r on the next stage. I must admit, this es exciting as hell. It is not everyday that Eric Martin comes up to u in the morning and say ”motherjane- you guys rock. I checked u out and ”fields of sound” is a great song. And by the way I liked ur rockumentary too.” Like I said they are all chilled out. Baiju had a chat with Paul Gilbert at dinner last night. Wonder what they had to say. It must have been intense
