Hello  it is just me  once again  trying to capture all the  recent updates in one place …I been reading the reviews from last night’s show at Opus on facebook , click just fans link also  , it was quite a surprise to be tweeted  and emailed the band mentioned me  and dedicated a song to me  at the show such sweethearts they are

*** Update ****Delhi has  Two Shows  the 1st is Sept 20th at 9 PM at Turquoise Cottage at Gurgaon   which is open to the public the  also playing will be Undying Inc. and The Circus  this  show is FREE ,  the show on Sept 22nd Pulse 2009 (AIIMS) is  open to Students Only with valid ID,  word, the link to the Event page for both on Facebook. Then motherjane will be back in Bangalore at the Hard Rock on Sept. 24th  and everyone that saw last night show at the Opus , said they would definatly  will come again,  please  dont’ take for granted people just know about the show, help spread the word not only about the event but about the band, each one of you just telling one person about the band makes an incredible difference !!!

There are many more shows upcoming and I know many of you hear  news of upcoming shows and ask why they are not posted , it is because they are not 100% confirmed and would hate to pull events down , trust  me as soon as the are official they will posted , no promises all the places  requested will get shows but that is up to the fans  and venues keep requesting motherjane at your colleges and venues ,  only  together we can create this buzz about the band  not only in India but the world ,… it is already happening …I see it everyday …Remember…

Motherjane is the Featured Artist at Opus Radio for next month  , mark  Calendar Wednesday Sept. 23 from 3 PM to 6 PM India Std. Time ,  exclusive interview with the band, will try to see if Opus will post the audio files for  those  around the globe who can’t tune in at that time, will send reminders on twitter and facebook too .

Been an especially busy week in motherjane’s world   Both Deepu and Suraj celebrated Birthday’s on Aug. 29th and 30th , it was wonderful to see all the fans who signed the Birthday Card, Deepu and Suraj were quite touched you can see their comments on the card.

MOTHERJANE touched down in Jakart 1pm their time and were picked up by the Java rock reception commitee.

First bit of rockstar reception was that we bypassed the entire customs & immigration formalities. We just stood around while they tagged all ur luggage and took us out to the artist bus.

2nd rockstar moment- We had a friggin police escort all the way from the airport to the hotel. That cuts down a 1.5 hr trip to 30 minutes

Jakarta looks a lot like an indian metro, with modern skyscrapers &extremely humble shanty huts, standing side by side. When a cty looks back at you like that, it feels like it is winking.

To me that always indicates the wordwide practice of the pursuit of wealth & at the same time suggests that the same place, values its people for other things as well. I am not glorifying poverty, I like countries that do not sweep its poor under the carpet.

Walked into the 5 star Hotel Borobudur to what may have been a traditional Indonesian welcome and a welcoming letter from the minister of culture and tourism

Bumped into Eric martin and Billy Sheehan right outside our rooms. We stay on the same floor. They are really chilled out. Got pics that I’m sure u will see soon.

Just getting into sound check now as i write. It is the 8th 10am, we r watching Mr Big doing their soundcheck and we r on the next stage. I must admit, this es exciting as hell. It is not everyday that Eric Martin comes up to u in the morning and say ”motherjane- you guys rock. I checked u out and ”fields of sound” is a great song. And by the way I liked ur rockumentary too.” Like I said they are all chilled out. Baiju had a chat with Paul Gilbert at dinner last night. Wonder what they had to say. It must have been intense
