Been a little quiet here after the flurry of activity with the band launching the new Indian Myspace Music Hub and headlining the 1st ever Secret Show by Myspace in India , we all  would like to thank the hundreds of new fans who joined the band’s ‘ myspace site in June !

The band once again has the pleasure of performing in Chennai on July 4th at the JRO 2009 Festival , motherjane will close the event but many talented bands will also be performing starting on July 3 .

Hello Everyone this has been has been a long time in the making and been very hard for all us to keep it to ourselves but it is now official myspace has asked motherjane to help launch their intiative to not only promote Indian music in India but around the  globe, all us at motherjane both the band and support team behind the band are huge supporters of promoting the Indian Music Scene so it was a natural to say yes !!!

I finally got to see them live and was I glad I didn’t miss it. (Of course, I wouldn’t have missed it for the world ) There’s just something about their music that makes you want to listen again and again. Something that really touches the soul I guess. Of course, my day was made when they performed “Fields of Sound”. The intro lead piece especially was a brilliant touch. I guess Suraj knew how much I love this song coz he looked at me and pointed to me. Lol, my evening was made . For those of you who who haven’t heard it, here’s a snippet. If you do like it, I strongly recommend you pick up a CD from the website. It really is worth it.
